We are excited to invite our Young Professionals network to the first company visit of 2026. Wilhelmsen and Wallenius Wilhelmsen invite you to a discussion on the maritime industry, global trade, and geopolitics. The session will explore how a leading maritime group is navigating market volatility, rising geopolitical risk, and evolving global trade dynamics. The speakers will share insights on group strategy, integrated supply chains, and the operational and safety decisions that define leadership in today’s maritime environment.
About the speakers
Christian Berg is Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Wilhelmsen group, a role he has held since 2016. He oversees finance, strategy, M&A, accounting, treasury, and risk for the organisation. Christian has extensive leadership experience from both industry and private equity. At Wilhelmsen, he plays a central role in guiding strategic decision-making and financial resilience in volatile markets.
Christian Holth is Chief Operating Officer of Supply Chain Solutions. He joined Wallenius Wilhelmsen in 2014 and has held several senior leadership roles, including SVP Head of Product Accelerator & Deputy COO Supply Chain Solutions, SVP Vehicle and High & Heavy Services EMEA and VP Strategy, M&A and Market Insight. Prior to joining the company, he worked as a management consultant at Capgemini Invent, focusing on strategy and operating model design in the logistics and energy sectors.
Filip Svensson leads the HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) team in Marine Operations and has been with Wallenius Wilhelmsen for 20 years, overseeing crew safety, operational procedures, risk management, and environmental protection across the fleet. With a background as a ship captain, Filip applies his hands-on experience at sea to fleet-wide safety initiatives. At Wallenius Wilhelmsen, he plays a central role in enhancing safety for crews and vessels while ensuring customers’ cargo is delivered reliably and on time.
