Horváth and Energy Hub Wilhelmshaven – A Cornerstone of Europe’s Energy Transition
Explore how EHW is shaping the future of energy in Europe -and what it means for your business, your region, and the climate. Located in Lower Saxony, Germany, Wilhelmshaven is being developed into a strategic hub for the import, conversion, storage, and distribution of green energy, with a strong focus on hydrogen (H₂) and its derivatives. But what exactly makes this hub so unique in a complex multi-stakeholder environment?
EHW is more than just infrastructure. It is a catalyst for cross-border collaboration, particularly between Germany and Norway. What role does Wilhelmshaven play in the German Norwegian energy partnership, and how can both countries benefit and learn from this cooperation -especially considering Germany’s growing import needs?
With over 30 interlinked projects, EHW is designed to connect energy-intensive industries directly to low-carbon energy sources, contributing significantly to the decarbonisation of German and European industry. It also plays a key role in enabling the Carbon Management (CM) Value Chain and supports the development of flexible, resilient energy systems. So, what’s next for hydrogen and carbon management in Germany, and how does EHW help shape that future?
In this webinar, you will gain insights into:
- The strategic vision and key components of the Energy Hub Wilhelmshaven
- What makes the hub successful in a multi-stakeholder setup
- The role of the German Norwegian energy collaboration in the project’s success
- Lessons learned from cross-border cooperation and energy import strategies
- How EHW contributes to the flexibilization of the energy system through hydrogen and carbon management
Join us for a webinar exploring one of Europe’s most ambitious energy transition initiatives.
