CII Focus Series: Cybersecurity & Digital Resilience
Drawing on the competencies of our AHK network, we are delighted to welcome our members to AHK Hungary’s Focus Series in cooperation with the Cyber Intelligence Institute (CII), starting with a Cybersecurity and Digital Resilience webinar.
At the interface between business and science, NGOs and start-ups, the Cyber Intelligence Institute (CII) develops new solutions for a secure digital future.
The core ideas are cooperation, dialogue and the interdisciplinary and global exchange of information and knowledge in order to make the country, the economy and society more resilient. This calls for holistic concepts that understand cyber security not only as an abstract technical and organisational responsibility, but as a task for society to protect common European values. The CII is thus actively advocating for greater digital security in an age of new digital challenges.
The CII offers a new online focus series in cooperation with the Digital Network of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK), which addresses key developments and action requirements in building digital resilience and compliance.
The war between Russia and Ukraine, geopolitical tensions in the Far East and the reassessment of transatlantic relations between the European Union and the USA are having a direct impact on the operational cyber security of many companies. Added to this are the demands placed on us by new technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
As a result, digital resilience in everyday business operations needs to be reassessed. What is the current threat situation, what attack vectors exist, how can I protect myself against them, and where can I get support?
These and other questions will be answered by Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker, Scientific Director of the cyberintelligence.institute, in the event on the effects of the threat situation in cyberspace and its consequences for every company.
Continuation of the focus series:
EU-wide regulatory requirements for cyber security: the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) on 17 November 2025, 2 p.m.:
Further topics in the focus series:
- Focus on hybrid threats - Hybrid threats, sabotage, espionage, emergency planning
- Focus on crisis communication - "Cyberattack paralyses company" – what now? Communicating effectively in a cyber crisis!
- Focus on digital sovereignty & hyperscalers – Technological independence – pipe dream or competitive advantage?
Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker is one of the leading minds in cyber security and works as Scientific Director of the cyberintelligence.institute in Frankfurt am Main, Member of the Board of Directors of the strategy consulting company CERTAVO AG, Visiting Professor at the private Riga Graduate School of Law in Latvia, which was founded by the Soros Foundation and is a FORBES Technology Council. He conducts research on topics at the interface of law and technology in cyber security, corporate strategy and digital resilience in the context of global crises, with a particular focus on Chinese and US IT law.
