Autonomous Maritime Systems — What Can Norway and Germany Learn from Each Other?
The maritime industry is characterized by rapid technological progress, a strong focus on decarbonization, and an increasingly challenging geopolitical landscape. Advancements in areas like AI, alternative fuels and space-tech makes greener and smarter solutions possible. At the same time, digitalization and automatization escalates the importance of cybersecurity and resilience.
What insights can German and Norwegian perspectives offer to the discussion of the future of the maritime industry?
Join us for a seminar that brings together industry leaders, researchers, policymakers and innovators from both nations to explore the next wave of autonomous maritime advancements!
Companies in Norway and Germany are at the forefront of innovation, working in the cross-section between automatization, sustainability and dual use. Norway has strong maritime roots and world-leading experience in advanced offshore technology.
Germany, on the other hand, possesses leading companies in autonomous and smart technology, owing to its renowned industrial expertise. This sets the stage for fruitful interactions between German and Norwegian players, allowing important synergies to arise in shaping the maritime industry of tomorrow.
