Climate, energy, and industry are deeply interconnected — and the green transition is key to reaching our climate targets. The industrial sector is responsible for a significant share of emissions - a pattern that also holds true for both Norway, Germany and Europe. With strong industrial bases and high climate ambitions, Germany and Norway have much to discuss. But does cutting emissions mean sacrificing growth? How do we find the right balance between decarbonization, innovation, and economic success? And how can renewable energy technologies contribute to both growth and climate targets?
We want to take a look from the outside – please join the conversation with experts and industry leaders from both countries!

How do we ensure the resilience of Europe’s industry in an era of global uncertainty? As global supply chains face disruptions and the relevance of self-reliance in certain critical sectors grows, the need to maintain crucial industrial capacity in Europe—while leveraging the benefits of open trade—has become a key topic for discussion.
In uncertain times, it is vital to discuss policies, effective partnerships across industries and governments and resilience-building to maintain a critical mass of industry in Europe.
Drawing on insights from Germany, Norway and the EU this panel will explore solutions for a sustainable and secure industrial future.

In 2022 – around 1400 organizers produced 1725 events and there were 200 exhibition stands in the centre of Arendal.
